After you pass, the FAA requires free online recurrent training every 24 calendar months.

The rule
You may not act as a remote pilot in command unless, within the previous 24 calendar months, you passed the initial knowledge test or completed recurrent training (14 CFR 107.65).
Which course
- Anyone who holds a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate: Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent (ALC-677), online and at no cost (FAA: Become a Drone Pilot).
- Part 107 remote pilots who also hold a Part 61 pilot certificate with a current flight review: Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent (ALC-515), also free (FAA: Become a Drone Pilot).
If you let it lapse
You can't act as remote pilot in command until you're current again (14 CFR 107.65). A person without a current certificate may still work the controls under the direct supervision of a current remote pilot in command who can take over immediately (14 CFR 107.12).
